What: Refresh and Recharge

September is a time of new beginnings and change. There is the start of schools, some for the first time, there is the return to work after the holidays and there is the change of the season. All this combined with the last 18 months and a summer of activity can leave us feeling drained, anxious and may be overwhelmed. Yoga is a great tool to help counteract all of this, gently stretching the body, connecting with the breath and our inner self can be a perfect tonic. This session with Karen Wilson of Samanya Yoga, is aimed at helping you refresh, recharge and renew. It will be a combination of gentle exercises, breath work and meditation. All abilities and fitness levels welcome – you don’t have to be able to touch your toes, balance on one leg or stand on your head! If you just need a bit of head space to unwind, destress and relax then what are you waiting for!
This renewing session will be complimented with expert advice from Lara Cawthra of Hands on Health to ensure that you know how best to take care of yourself and your family for the autumn/winter period.
